Fees & Payment information
A free 15 minute consultation is how we will first get to know each other, discuss your concerns, and establish a preliminary treatment plan.
My standard fee is $250 per 50 minute session.
A sliding scale option is available.
To ensure that therapy services are most effective for you, your child, or family, regular attendance to therapy sessions will be expected. Typically, individual sessions take place once a week.
Payments are expected to take place on a recurring basis, preferably at the time of each session, unless another arrangement has taken place.
Cancellation Policy
My cancellation policy is that if a scheduled therapy session needs to be missed, an advanced notice of at least 48 hours is required.
Less than a 48 hour notice for a missed scheduled session will result in a charge.
Availability
In person sessions are available Monday through Friday.
Virtual sessions are also an option.
Billing
A monthly statement will be emailed or mailed to you at the beginning of the month that outlines the sessions owed for the month.
Insurance
While I currently do not accept Insurance, you or your child’s mental health care treatment may be fully or partially covered for reimbursement by your health insurance provider. To determine if this is possible, you will have to set up a time to speak with your insurance provider and establish a plan.
Below you will find examples of questions to ask your insurance provider about reimbursements:
Do I have mental health coverage?
What is my deductible? Has it been met?
What is the amount each session is covered for an out-of-network provider?
(If you have mental health coverage) How many sessions per year are covered?
Is a prior approval or referral necessary from an in-network provider for an out-of-network provider?
How may I obtain reimbursement for services from an out-of-network provider?
